Singam Star Suriya Tests Negative For COVID-19; To Resume Shoot Of Pandiraj Soon
Some days ago, South Indian star Suriya was diagnosed with COVID-19. He informed his fans that he is suffering from the novel Coronavirus and that he has started with his treatment while also reminding them that life has not yet returned to normalcy. Recently, the actor’s brother announced that he is back home from his medical treatment. Now, its time for Suriya fans to rejoice as the actor tested negative for COVID-19. This news was confirmed by the director of Suriya’s production house 2D Entertainment Rajsekar.

He took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans that the Soorarai Pottru actor has recovered and tested negative for COVID 19. He also thanked everyone for their prayers. He wrote, “#AnbanaFans Anna tested NEGATIVE, Thank you for all your prayers and wishes”. Reportedly, after getting recovered, Suriya will soon join the sets of his upcoming film with Pandiraj tentatively titled Suriya40. 

Earlier, after the news broke out on social media about his health, fans of the actor started trending #GetWellSoonSURIYAanna out of concern on Twitter and said that Singam will be back with a bang and indeed, he is back!


Suriya’s tweet on COVID-19 read, “I am suffering from 'corona' infection and am receiving treatment. We will all realize that life has not yet returned to normal. Can't be paralyzed with fear. At the same time, safety and attention are essential. Love and thanks to the dedicated supportive physicians.” Filmmaker Rajsekar Pandian who shares a strong bond with Suriya has shared the latter’s tweet on his own handle. Throwing light on the same, he writes, “Dear Brothers and Sisters Anna’s fine and nothing to worry.”
